Associates Drive

Each year, the Associates of nearly 50 Boston-area law firms participate in the GBLS annual Associates Fund Drive. The drive raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to provide legal services for the poor. The Associates Drive was started by associates themselves in the 1990s as a grassroots fundraising effort.

Corporate Fund Drive

We need your legal department to join a critical effort that helps ensure that the poor members of our society have access to the critical legal assistance they need for civil matters. The Boston area legal community has been doing this for over 110 by providing significant financial support to Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS). GBLS helps low-income people move out of poverty, secure protection from abuse, and avoid homelessness.

Corporate Counsel Drive

Each year, attorneys who are in-house counsel at area companies join their colleagues in contributing to Greater Boston Legal Services’ (GBLS) In-House Counsel Drive.  The drive raises funds to support the critical legal assistance GBLS provides for the poor such as victims of domestic violence and their children who are seeking protection against abuse and homeless families who have inappropriately been denied emergency shelter.

Lawyers Fund Drive

We need to your law firm to join a critical effort that helps ensure that the poor members of our society have access to the critical legal assistance they need for civil matters. The Boston area legal community has been doing this for over 110 years by providing significant financial support to Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS). GBLS helps low-income people move out of poverty, secure protection from abuse, and avoid homelessness.

Asian Outreach Campaign

You can make a difference in the lives of low-income members of the Asian community by supporting the Friends of the Asian Outreach Unit Donor Campaign.

For close to 40 years, the Asian Outreach Unit (AOU) at Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) has provided bilingual, culturally sensitive legal representation to help poor Asian immigrants secure the basic necessities of life – food, shelter, income and safety. 

Last year, AOU advocates assisted over 900 low-income Asian clients and helped improve their lives.
